Congratulations to Adam Faulkner and Elena Currah who qualified for the National Chess Junior Squad (NCJS) at the trial in Liverpool over the weekend. Adam scored 4 points and Elena 3 points after 5 rounds and are now available for selection to represent England in overseas events. The Crowborough Chess Club qualifying competition for the UK Chess Challenge Mega-Final was completed last week. PDF of the cross table of the games played in the last 10 weeks. Entries are now open for this year's British Chess Championships that is being held in Torquay between 26th July and 4th August 2019.The age group sections are strong however there are weekday tournaments suitable for everyone starting with an Under 100 Graded tournament.
