European Schools Chess Championship 2015

UPDATE

Konya - Turkey

Amardip reached 5/7 which gave him a chance of a medal if he could win his last two games. In Round 8 he was paired with white against an 1895 rated Moldovan player. Amardip played aggressively with the Moller attack variation of the Italian Game. He could have gained an edge but unfortunately chose an inferior recapture on move 18 and his opponent converted the material advantage.

His last round was tough with Black against a 1950 local player and he finished the tournament on 5/9 a good score in this field.
