Bexhill Chess Tournament

Two Crowborough players competed in this FIDE rated tournament over the weekend of the 28th February to 1st March with varying success.

Amardip played some excellent chess and had a chance to win the U1900 section in the last round but in the end had to settle for 3rd place and a £50 prize with a creditable 3½/5 score.

David however was fighting at the opposite end of the U2200 section trying to avoid the wooden spoon. A draw in the last round assured him of a shared last place with the not so good score of 1/5 and the unwelcome distinction of not winning a game over the weekend.
