This twice rearranged match took place on our last club night of the season.

Michael on board 1 was unlucky dropping a piece while in a slightly better position.

Matthew on 2 is adjudicated with most of the pieces still on the board but is a pawn up. Its black to move ;

Kartik on 3 had a titanic battle just making the time control at move 42 and 49 by seconds in both cases. He kept his nerve in a bishop and knight ending with his opponent blinking first.

Luke won a nice a king and pawn endgame on board 4 which kept the crowd mesmerised.

Kieran played the 2 knights defence on board 5 and after his opponent missed the opportunity to complicate with Ng5 on move 5 played accurately to convert the point.
