Team Update
The 4th Team match against Haywards Heath 3 which was postponed has been rescheduled for the 11th April
The 1st Team drew with Hastings 1 away with fine wins from Peter Kemp and Robert Elliston and a draw by Gareth Anthony on top board. Matthew Pannett was a late replacement and held on finely against strong opposition but had to resign on adjudication. I lost a poor game which I tried to do nothing and as Gareth pointed out I would have been better off if I had carried on doing nothing but unfortunately I did do something.
The 3rd Team suffered a narrow defeat at the hands of the Woodpushers with captain Caroline Campion being the only winner though young Amardip Ahluwalia and slightly older Michael Redman achieved draws.
