Please help us retain our Div B status – there are now 5 Divisions with some very strong players so we need all your help as our highest rated players will be struggling against the likes of Southstream who plays for the Swedish team Trojan Horses.

Players in the first few rounds are paired against equal rated opponents so it is your chance to shine and get the first points on the board for Crowborough.

As the lockdowns begin to ease around the world this event is moving to a bi-weekly or possibly monthly rather than a weekly occurrence so take the chance now.

Next Saturday the Worldwide Juniors is providing the opportunity for one player from each team to play GM Alexander Morozevich in a simultaneous display.

We played a qualifier last night and Arjun Koilani won the seat with Peter Crosby as reserve.

We will run a zoom meeting next week to commentate and analyse the games. All, except of course Arjun, are welcome to come and join in the discussion.
