Review of recent events;

Junior Chess Club

The games played every Friday between September and November are scored 3 points for a win, two points for a draw and one point for a loss.

These are strongly competed and played under tournament conditions at a time control of 10 minutes + 10 second increments.

Trophies were presented to Henry retaining his junior club champion title closely followed by Suriya and Reece.

The Regency Board and Set for top Under 11 was won by Lucy Lai and will be presented to her in January. Well done everyone who played and as can be seen in the final table it was extremely close at the top with only 6 points between the top 10 players.

After the trophy presentation we had a bit of fun playing blitz chess with only 3 minutes + 2 seconds per move on the clocks.
