Amardip qualifies for 2017 British Championship
Over the weekend of 18-19 February 2017 Amardip won the West of England Open under 18 Championship thereby qualifying him for a place in the British Championship finals to be played at Llandudno in August.
This is a terrific achievement and we wish him the best of luck in the finals where not only will he be competing for the British Under 21 and Under 18 titles at the age of 14 but also the adult British Champion title. This may be a little beyond him this time but he could certainly be a contender for the title in future years.
