Its back to school and back to chess. 

Club re-opens this Friday 9^thSeptember 6:30pm

We look forward to welcoming you all back. 

A little reminder to everyone that we do not act in loco parentis and therefore we do ask that you or a nominated adult supervises your child throughout a session.

The local council support of the Community Centre is ending and our preferential discount rate on room hire is being discontinued which unfortunately means our membership fees must be increased by £5. 

Our club is run by volunteers and membership fees are only used to pay for room hire, insurance, trophies medals etc, refreshments, equipment, website expenses and competition entry fees.

New rates for September 2016 to May 2017 covering about 30 meetings are;

Junior Membership £40

open to all school age children

Entitles members to

• free attendance to the Junior training 6:30pm - 7:30pm
• enjoy all the facilities on a club night 7:30pm - 10:45pm
• to play for teams in the Mid Sussex Chess League
• to play for teams in the Mid Sussex KO tournament
• to enter the nationally graded club championship tournaments

Family Membership

£110 Any combination of Adult and Junior memberships
£  80 Three Junior memberships

£  65 Two Junior memberships

open to all family members residing at one address
