UK Chess Challenge
2016
This is one of the largest tournaments in the world with
about 50,000 children entering from 1400 clubs and schools across the UK.
This is our tenth consecutive year as a club in running a
qualifying tournament for this event and we were recently sent a Platinum
Certificate to celebrate this fact.
The top boy and top girl in each age group from within the
club plus others achieving the qualifying score progress to the ;
MEGAFINAL which is a county level tournament and winners
from there qualify for the
GIGAFINAL for the
South of England and from there to the
TERAFINAL with a chance to win a first prize of £2,000
Last year Amardip came 8th= out of a total entry
of 48,200 winning £90
